Due to high winds, hot air balloon flights were grounded in Luxor for the third day in a row.




Due to poor weather and strong winds, the Luxor Governorate's Civil Aviation Authority decided to cancel hot-air balloon flights on Saturday on the western mainland of Luxor for the third day in a row. 

The flights were cancelled for three straight days due to the unreliable weather; they will resume once the conditions get better. 

Because all companies operating in the balloon are committed to following civil aviation instructions, which maintain the security and safety of the participants by adhering to strict precautionary and preventive measures, including sterilising all balloons were constantly using heat detectors, disinfectants, and masks, Luxor Governorate occupies an advanced rank in the classification of countries that operate the hot-air balloon, ranking third globally.

 

As Luxor is one of the most well-known international cities in this industry due to its friendly atmosphere and thorough preparations, balloon flights are thought to be one of the most significant adventure trips in the world.

New Show ‘Ancient Egypt by Trains’ Takes Us From Alexandria to Aswan

  Alice Roberts is a British TV presenter, anthropologist, and biologist who is currently travelling through Egypt on one of the world's oldest railways in an effort to learn more about the ancient country's secrets (and hopefully nothing else; we're looking at you, British Museum).
